Find out what’s actually wrong before you pay to fix it.
A two-week, fixed-scope review of the technology your business runs on. You get a plain-language punch list of risks, wasted spend, and what to fix first.
No obligation, and if it’s not a good fit, I’ll tell you.

Is this for you?
A good fit if…
- Your business depends on a website, cloud services, or software someone set up for you.
- Nobody has looked at the whole setup in a while, or ever.
- You want straight answers before you spend money on fixes.
Probably not a fit if…
- Something is broken right now and needs fixing today.
- You’re looking for ongoing IT support or a help desk.
- You run a large, multi-team technology operation.
Most problems are quiet until they aren’t.
Most small companies don’t think about their technology until something breaks. By then the fix is urgent, and urgent is expensive.
- Backups nobody has tested.
- Bills nobody fully understands.
- Systems only one person knows how to fix.
What $500 is up against
- A day your website or booking system is down.
- Finding out the backups don’t work on the day you need them.
- A cloud bill that has been quietly creeping up for a year.
- The one person who understands your setup moving on.
A diagnostic finds these before they find you.
What the diagnostic is
A careful, fixed-scope look at the systems your business depends on: servers, cloud services, how your software gets updated, backups, and basic security practices.
You get an honest, plain-language assessment of what’s working, where the biggest risks are, where you may be wasting money, and what deserves attention first. Not a technical data dump. Something you can read, understand, and act on.
What you get

How it works

Email me
Tell me about your setup. Within two business days, I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a good fit. If it is, I’ll send a short written agreement, and we can go over it on a call if you like.
Your time: a short email -
Set up access
No need to know how. I’ll walk you through granting read-only access from your own accounts. I can look but can’t change anything, and you can switch it off any time.
Your time: about an hour -
I review
Two weeks, starting once access is in place. I may send a few questions along the way about how things are used day to day.

Who you’d be working with
I’m Josh Edwards, an infrastructure and DevOps engineer. I’ve spent years keeping production systems running, and getting them back on their feet when they weren’t. The Archefire Agency is my practice: diagnostics first, and follow-on work for clients who want it.
I take on a few diagnostics at a time so each one gets proper attention.
Analysis is AI-assisted under a strict data-handling policy. Every finding is reviewed and verified by me before it reaches you.
Price
$500 flat.
Two weeks. No retainer, no ongoing commitment, no pressure.
The findings are yours. Fix them yourself, hand them to your current IT provider, or hire someone else.
Get in touchWhat you’re risking
- Nothing changes on your systems. Access is read‑only.
- You can switch off my access at any time.
- Confidentiality is agreed in writing before any work begins.
- If your setup is too big for a $500 review, I’ll say so before you pay.
- Nothing renews, nothing recurs.
Beyond the diagnostic
The diagnostic stands on its own. You might take the punch list and handle it yourself, or with the people you already work with.
Or you might want help acting on it. For that, I take on a small number of follow-on projects, each scoped to specific findings and priced separately, and only if you ask. No retainers and no packages. The work is shaped by what you actually need.
The goal is a long working relationship built on telling you the truth about your setup. The diagnostic is where that starts.
Common questions
What’s the catch?
No hidden catch. You pay $500 and get two weeks of careful review and a written punch list that’s yours to keep. If you want help fixing what I find, I’m happy to scope that as a separate project. That’s your call, and the punch list is useful either way.
Do you fix the problems you find?
Not as part of the diagnostic. If you want help acting on the findings afterward, see Beyond the diagnostic.
What access do you need?
Read-only access to the relevant systems, like your cloud accounts. You don’t need to know how to set that up. I’ll walk you through it using your own accounts, and you’ll never be asked to send passwords. If a system doesn’t support read-only access, we’ll agree on the safest option together. You can remove my access at any time.
Will you definitely find problems?
No one can promise that honestly. What you’re paying for is a careful investigation. If your setup is in good shape, you’ll hear that plainly, along with anything worth keeping an eye on.
Do you provide ongoing IT support?
No. The diagnostic is one-time, not a support contract, monitoring service, or on-call arrangement.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Before any work begins, we both sign a short written agreement that covers confidentiality, how your data is handled, and how it’s deleted when we’re done.
